Episode 147: NewHammer Is Coming

At Adepticon, Games Workshop dropped a bombshell – a new edition is coming – and they gave the community some insights into what they’re considering for 8th Edition 40K. In this episode, we take a look at their comments and try to divine what it means for the next iteration of the game? Is it Oldhammer all over again? Is it completely Newhammer? Is it the Sigmarization of 40K? And what kinds of practical effects could this have on the game, both in how it’s played and how it’s packaged to players? We’ve also got an interview with Shaylynn Allen, the top female player in the 2016-2017 ITC season, to talk about her experiences and observations about female players in the 40K environment.
