Episode 230: The Year That Was 2020
2020 was… not the year that anyone has hoped for. Not even remotely. A global pandemic brought a lot of things to a standstill, as we lived through (and may still be experiencing) lockdowns, event cancellations, strict occupancy and spacing limits, and the difficulty in being together without putting each other in danger. Even with all that, though, Warhammer 40K carried on, and not even Nurgle’s finest could stop what Games Workshop had planned for us. In this episode, we look back at the year that was 2020, and how things shaped up in an environment when we couldn’t get our game on as freely as we once could. New models, new codexes, even a new edition of the game – how did it all go down in this dumpster fire of a year? Also, news and new releases, your listener mail, hobby progress, and the Morale Phase!
