Episode 21: Armies for Newbs – Tau
We continue our Armies for Newbs series with a look at the very shooty, not so assault-y Tau Empire. Rob talks about why he picked it, how he plays it, and whether he thinks it’s a good army for new players. Also, we look at the recent clarifications and revelations on some of the recent rumors, talk about the escalation league that Richard and Dennis are playing in, and announce our new forums.Oh, and Rob’s having a baby in two weeks, so he’ll be taking a brief break from the show while things settle down at home.

Yes Tau !!!!
Not bad but I think you should go into more detail about each Tau unit. I think one of the factors in tau is the cost of some of the units as well. Or maybe how Kroot hounds make up for some of the deficiencies of initiative for the Kroot warriors.
Thanks for the feedback! The Armies for Newbs series isn’t really for doing in-depth codex reviews, but more quick overviews explaining the high and low points of particular armies and whether they’re good choices for new players. You do bring up good points, though.
