Episode 69: Terrain – The Third Player
Nobody wants to play on an empty table, right? This week, Rob, Dennis, and Richard discuss terrain – that stuff we put on the table to block line of sight and otherwise make the game more interesting. How much is enough? What’s the best way to place it? And how do you get it in the first place? Also, we discuss Games Workshop’s recent stock woes, Richard’s experiences with the new Tyranids, and our recent hobby progress.

Guys, great podcast as always. Just wanted to correct you on the alternating table set-up. According to the rulebook players place the terrain after deployment sides are rolled for. So you know how to set-up the terrain to be most advantageous to your battle plan. This makes terrain placement a bit more strategic.
Looking at the rules, you are absolutely right. Thanks for catching that! We’ll make sure to correct that on episode 70.
