The flurry of codex releases continues, and this one is a big one. So big, in fact, that we’re splitting our review into two episodes! In this episode, the Preferred Enemies crew looks at the more general parts of the new Codex: Space Marines. From Chapter Tactics and Chaplains to Warlord Traits and Whirlwinds, we look at the rules and non-unique units that can make up any Space Marines army. There’s nothing new, but how have the units from the previous codex fared in the update to 7th Edition? Who are the winners and losers? Will you have to change how your existing list plays? Will there ever be a reason to take Assault Centurions? Listen as we try to answer these and other questions… and then tune in next episode to hear about named characters, relics, and formations!

    For Iron Hands, only vehicles with the Chapter Tactics special rule (Dreads) get IWND. Yes or no?

    Sorry, this was the first time I listened to your podcast and I don’t imagine I’m going to again. I don’t know who it was but the guy complaining about fantasy and not knowing the rules for Salvo was bad enough, but he had the least listenable voice I’ve ever heard.

    Good luck but, think about the casting.
