Episode 156: Adeptus Astartes EX Plus Alpha
The first codex of 8th Edition is upon us, and first up are the poster boys of 40K, the Space Marines. Since the edition change, space marines have been more vanilla than they have in a long time, with no chapter rules to differentiate them and only an influx of basic Primaris marines to add something new. However, that’s changing in the 8th Edition marine codex! More Primaris options, for one, but that’s far from all – chapter tactics have returned, along with a bevy of relics and stratagems to back them up. So, how do all these changes add up? Do they make marines more interesting? Have classic marines been made obsolete? And why do we feel so very, very sorry for Imperial Fists players? All this, plus a look at all the new releases (including the changes to Matched Play), a brief stop with hobby progress, and of course – your listener mail!

Repulsor is 310 ish for infantry shredding, 350ish for anti vehicles(Always take stormbolters where you can.) So cheaper than a godhammer landraider.
Thanks for the ideas on how to build my Dark Eldar army! I’ll post any painting progress on the Facebook page!

Kill points, PL, one army 100 PL the other 120 PL, so at the end of the battle the 2Nd army ÷ its total by 1.2 = fair conclusion….?
